Gwin's mechanic told us the team bikes get a full teardown and rebuild after every day of practice, #chainoptional. Gwin's still rocking the custom rear-link and sticks with an air-shock for the rough National Champs track here in Mammoth. Will he keep that #1 plate after tomorrow? From watching practice, he's definitely focused and making easy work of sections that have a lot of riders still standing on the sidelines looking for their line. All eyes on Gwin.
