We spotted a new shock in the DVO pits, dubbed the Topaz. Details were slim as the shock is still in its prototyping phase, but what we do know is the new shock features similar bladder technology found in their Jade coil shock, in lieu of IFP. The shock features externally adjustable rebound damping and 3-compression settings: open, medium and firm (the firm is pretty much a lock-out for climbing). When asked about whether or not the new rear shock will feature user adjustable shim-stacks, we were told they are, albeit a bit more complicated than their other suspension products.
