By ensuring that the line is bled before releasing the pump from the valve stem, Lezyne has ensured that the valve core remains in the tube which was a uncommon but possible issue experienced with older designs. If you own an older model, know that the ABS Flip Chuck system is retrofittable. There is even a similar version integrated into Lezyne's hand pumps.
