Maxxis, long the manufacturer of a tires copied by everyone seems seems to be trying out a new approach. Previously only available in a DH size, the new Shorty TR comes in a 2.3-inch size with EXO casing and 3C Maxx Grip compound. If it's steep, techy, blow out, or a little muddy, the Shorty TR could be rad. Prices look to be around $90-100.
