UK based Whyte Bikes will be available direct to USA consumers through Whyte Bikes USA as of mid-October. Whyte Bikes is sold through dealers in the UK, and in the USA they plan to roll out a ‘click and collect’ option for consumers which will allow you to pick up an assembled bike at a participating local shop. Notable highlights for the Vital crowd include the G-160 (above) and T-130 (below).

As the name suggests, the G-160 is a 160mm travel bike geared toward the hard hitting enduro and all-mountain scenes. It sports a 6061 T6 SCR aluminum frame with a tapered head tube, integrated seat clamp, ISCG-05 tabs, internal routing, and 12x148mm dropouts. Geo numbers include 425mm chainstays, a 66-degree head angle, and 342.5mm bottom bracket height.

It'll come in two models, including the impeccably spec'd $4,999 Works model shown here. Watch for a Vital review of the G-160 in our upcoming 2016 Test Sessions.

On the shorter travel side of things is the T-130, a 130mm travel trail rig. It's available in four models, including the $5,499 Carbon Works model that's 1X specific with a wider main pivot for added torsional stiffness and better bearing life. The rear triangle is still aluminum, however. Made in sizes S-XL, the T-130 has 420mm chainstays, a 67-degree head angle, and 331mm bottom bracket height.
