Garmin's Climb Pro ascent manager now kicks in automatically, without you having to plan the ride. Garmin devices that manage full maps can now detect when you are about to head up on a climb, and will let you know what to expect at each point so you can manage your effort. Available on newer devices like the Edge 540 and Edge 840 Solar.
