Inflatable side panels on this bike bag do a good job of protecting your bike while staying around just 8-pounds. Biknd's system is quite neat, allowing you to leave your seatpost in, rotors on, and derailleur on the bike. The cost is $450, which includes all the adapters you might need and a small toolset. They've tested all the major downhill bikes, including the super long GT Fury to ensure they all fit. You can also open it from both sides for easy access to the bike.
