I was interested in getting a pair so I called POC to check on this. They said all the shorts in the current line of shorts all have sewn pockets now. There were a few styles previously that were glued but all current season shorts, all pockets are sewn. Loving my blue Essential shorts now!

Heads up on POC shorts. The pockets are NOT sewn in , but glued/bonded. If you pull the zipper without holding the bottom it breaks the weld way too easily. Seen it a few times. They need to sew in the zipper! I had a seamstress do it on mine( Enduro resistance pro ), they are great now.
