Tigon tracks the ground and grips like a coil shock, but thanks to Cane Creek's patent-pending air-charged RAMP Tube Technology, it also offers the mid-stroke and bottom-out support of an air shock.
RAMP Tube is a small air spring that works in conjunction with its main coil spring to control the shock’s progression.
Riders will still rely on the main coil to support their body weight while setting sag – but can easily add 20-35% progression relative to a traditional coil shock using a basic shock pump.
The benefits of coil and air delivered in a layout that better withstands side-loading and buckling forces that can harm traditional coil shocks.
• Damping: DB Twin Tube Technology
• Shaft Diameter: 12.7mm (1/2")
• Recommended Sag: 25% - 35%
• Manufacturing: Designed, tested, and hand-built in North Carolina, USA
• Warranty: Limited 2-year
*Shocks are sold without Spring or Hardware.
