Race Face Atlas Stem

Stems have always been a component that I am willing to spend a bit of extra cash on for a little more bling factor on the bike. While this stem will likely do the same job as the stock stem yet costs three times more, there is something about having a nice stem and nice looking bars on your bike. The Race Face Atlas has been one of my favorite stems to run on my enduro bike because it has such a burly look, while also having cool graphics and coming in a wide range of colors. I think the topography graphic etched in the stem gives it an extra cool, and quality look, and helps them stand out from the sea of anodized stems out there. This stem is fairly heavy compared to similar stems in the market, but I trust that it will be solid no matter what I throw at it. If you have the extra dough and want a beefy, yet well designed stem with a unique graphic this is a great choice. Would recommend without a doubt, but try to find a discount code or sale before pulling the trigger!

I like the chunky design that still looks pretty sleek somehow. The 5mm hex hardware on the steerer clamp portion is nice. Definitely a solid strong option.

I've used Race Face bars for a long time and after having a creaky experience with another brands stem I gave the RF Atlas 31.8 50mm stem a try. It's one of those parts on the bike that just does it's job without complaints.
