7iDP Crew Socks

I'll start off by admitting to the fact that writing a review about socks is a little trivial, but here goes nothing. I love 7 Protection, they have saved my knees from many an unplannedejection, and have gotten my loyalty for their nice design and ergonomics. I used to ride with ankle socks, but after a while getting hit in the shin by numerous stupid plants, cactuses (socks don't do much about cactus thorns though) and random other trail obstacles I began to see the merit. I'll admit the bros I see wearing tall socks everywhere made me hesitate in buying taller socks, I try to stay as far away from being a tool as possible, but I digress. 

On to the socks, they fit awesome, have extra ventilation where it makes sense, extra thickness and padding in the right places, overall super sweet. These socks are not a game changer, but they are super comfortable, and keep some of the plants and sticks from destroying and scratching my legs, a win for me. I grab these for trail rides that are a bit more technical or for days in the park, but they are a bit tall for super hot days, or XC rides. So far no issues with wear or anything like that. Overall these socks function like socks. Obvious I know, but it should be said. They are well thought out in terms of ventilation, padding, and good looks and bonus they match my kneepads!
