The upper portion of the course was “Proceed with Caution”…well at least for Saturday practice. Greasy mud was packing up tires and sections where you had the mud and rock mix were VERY sketchy. No sense in hucking and running the risk of injury the day before the race. Save all that for race day. Randy Simpson wisely decides to walk this series of mud-ridden rock step-downs. You can see his front tire all packed up.
