whats funny about this is that he probably opted for the EA70s over the lighter EC90s thinking the extra heft would be strength enough for Mt-St-Anne's course... nope. Should have gone withe the Haven 9rs (if they were even out at this time)

I heard 29ers had more traction and were more susceptible to flex. I guess this is what happens when the tire sticks and the wheel flexes.

29" wheels really DO roll over anything. Doesn't even matter which way they are pointed.
