It's not 'how they did the boltless thing'. It's the 'Volcom' thing. Volcom isn't exactly a bike/MTB brand (if anything, BMX, maybe...). So him having a stem cap from Volcom might maybe indicate some changes?

At least that's what i'd like to hear about, don't know if jmcneill has the same stance.

It’s about to pour rain and their 29” DH mud tires haven’t arrived yet. He used G5’s in practice today while it was still dry.
