Nico Lau took home the victory at the 2nd round of the 2014 Enduro World Series in Scotland. Day 1 featured very steep and technical stages, which were regarded as some of the most difficult EWS stages on record. Day 2 featured flowing trails with more pedaling. Nico was able to slaughter both styles of riding and took the overall win aboard his Cube Stereo 160 Super HPC 27.5. The stock frame is a size medium and features a 66.5-degree head angle, 74.6-degree seat angle, 160mm travel and is run with the new FOX 36 up front. Nico ran a 2x10 Shimano XTR drivetrain with 26/38t rings up front. He says he's happy with a 2x system so he can conserve energy on the climbs if necessary and is looking forward to running the new 2x11 system, possibly using Di2 in the near future. Nico used the new Schwalbe Dual Chamber tire system which allows the use of tires with lighter weight sidewalls. Coincidentally, Nico's rear tire was a brand new Nobby Nic design that obviously got the job done. Bravo Nico!
