Loic Bruni took this custom-painted Specialized S-Works Demo 8 to his first World Cup DH victory in Cairns, Australia. Track conditions dried up enough to run the gamble of using a semi-slick tire (Specialized Slaughter) on the rear wheel to help with the long, physical pedaling section at the end of the track. The gamble paid off and Loic won the race by just .493 seconds.
