Aaron Gwin was on a mission during the final day of the U.S. National Champs and his speed was noticeably quicker than previous days. It seems a 7-second buffer over 2nd place in seeding just wasn't good enough for him. 11-seconds ahead of 2nd place today, retaining the stars and stripes on his sleeve.
