While shredding the Mammoth Enduro in New Zealand, we caught up with Keegan Wright, who recently announced his signing with Devinci. Keegan ran the Devinci Spartan carbon with the full SRAM / RockShox treatment. The Spartan gets 165mm of rear travel via the Metric RockShox SuperDeluxe rear shock and the Split Pivot suspension platform. There is a steep or slack geometry setting on the Spartan and Keegan runs it in the low or slack mode. Head angle is 65-degrees with a 337mm bottom bracket height. The RockShox Lyrik up front runs 170mm of travel. The SRAM Eagle X01 12-speed drivetrain has the massive 10-50t cassette out back for climbing range and power for high-speed pedaling and Keegan has an XX1 rear derailleur on the build. Avid CODE brakes keep Keegan in control. The CODEs are the burlier, DH-oriented SRAM brake.
Race Face Turbine R wheels and Maxxis Minion DHF tires keep the bike hauling.
Vital has spent some time on the Spartan and you can
