He did it. Every single person I spoke to is stoked that Sam Hill was today's winner. -Duncan Philpott
Sam Hill left a bunch of those stones unturned because he just blasted right over them. @maddogboris
Long awaited, long time coming. Whatever you want to call it don't call it a comeback. Sam Hill has finally conquered all his injuries and showed the riding he can do when given a proper DH track. -Sven Martin
Manon managed to take back 4-seconds in the final and shortest split. She put just under a second into Ragot and Atherton in the gnar. -Duncan Philpott
Luca Shaw, Junior winner and ready for the big time. @maddogboris
It's odd how winning one race can change your perspective. There was an air of expectation and disappointment on Ratboy's performance. Rewind 6th months and 2nd place would be a result never to be forgotten. #hungryforit -Duncan Philpott
Fun can be fast. -Duncan Philpott
Even though she was tired and lost time at the bottom of the track, Rachel was still hitting all the gaps. 2nd place, only .7 behind with a near dog attack mid run. -Duncan Philpott
Danny Hart can squash a jump or drop with the best of them and only 1.6-seconds away from the win. With a different winner at each round this season, he's overdue. -Sven Martin

Brook MacDonald in practice today. He was on a stellar run before a high-speed slide out near here. He still finished 16th, 8-seconds down, quite possibly the amount of time he lost. - @steelcitymedia
Troy Brosnan retains the leader's jersey after another consistent finish with a 4th (cough, cough Power Rankings). What goes on behind those lenses only he knows, but we know that he wants to be better than 4th. -Sven Martin
Emmeline Ragot looking tiny on the man-sized Mt Ste Anne course. The ultra-competitive Top 3 women were all on the same second after a four-and-a-half-minute run. -Sven Martin
Plagued by 6th place after 6th place, it's sick for Blenki to make it to the podium. 5th place only 2.1-seconds off the top. -Duncan Philpott
Greg's crash on his final practice run. Full body impact, leaving nothing untouched or scathed. -Sven Martin

Greg Minnaar with too much dirt on his gear in practice for our liking. - @steelcitymedia
Not Cunny and Warner's *hot box* of preference. It was baking inside the live feed commentary booth today. -Sven Martin
Gee almost didn't race today after his big crash. Another Top 10 for one of the toughest men out there. -Sven Martin
#finishlineselfie - Boris got the richest selfie in front of the podium guys right before the TV guy punted him out of the way. Don't take no for answer. -Duncan Philpott
First-year Elite, Mike Jones is smashing it for rookie of the year. 13th here and he's gunning for the Top 10. -Duncan Philpott
Remi Thirion exhibiting perfect racer style, green light and all. -Duncan Philpott
Even though today wasn't the day, everyone is expecting Loic Bruni to win a World Cup soon. -Duncan Philpott
Aaron Gwin definitely added to the heat index today, so crowd scrambled for the shade. With the next World Cup in the USA next week, Gwin will have the full support of the crowd. -Duncan Philpott
Nigel Page and Sam have built quite the bond in the time he's been on the team. And today all the hard effort paid off. -Duncan Philpott
Harry Heath blasted his way under the radar to 12th place. Yet another Brit proving they've got the potential to hang with the big boys. #powerofthebeard -Duncan Philpott
Giant hosted a big braai (BBQ) for Andrew Neethling's surprise birthday after the race. It ended up being the central hub for festivities and some pre-partying. Dave Garland on the flipping duties. -Sven Martin
Although Neethling prefers golf, since we are in Canada he used a hockey stick to "cut" his personalized cake. At least with a golf club we could have made a slice pun...eh. -Sven Martin
Loris Vergier gave it his all after taking a small tumble. He impressively managed to keep himself on the podium. -Duncan Philpott
With years of winning experience, Sam Hill's no stranger to popping a bottle of champagne. Just like on the track, he left the rest of the podium behind. -Duncan Philpott
Canadian Junior, Jack Iles, took a hard-fought 2nd place in the competitive Junior category. -Sven Martin

Remi Thirion Jedi mind tricking his bike around that wayward rock in practice. - @steelcitymedia
@craigevans1 wants more instagram followers and is promising whips in return. -Duncan Philpott
And even though Brendan has followers running into the thousands, he wouldn't mind a couple more after losing his account this time last year. #freeracing @brendog1 -Duncan Philpott
Tahnee Seagrave getting stylish out of the woods and onto the piste. 4th place. -Sven Martin
Mr. Paris had to stop a passerby after getting a little "muddy" in the woods. It was a shitty situation. #babywipes -Sven Martin
Greg Minnaar after a massive crash in his last practice run did well to bring it home for a 7th, just half a second off the podium. It was a painful war for many this weekend. -Sven Martin
Manon Carpenter sprinting for the yellow jersey. .724-seconds was all it took for victory. -Sven Martin
Longer tracks can be difficult to memorize. Jill Kintner takes an artistic approach. -Duncan Philpott
Sam Hill coming into the green. A familiar sight a few years ago, I'm sure it won't be long before he does it again. -Sven Martin
The irony of a "basic alloy" frame beating out the two new sleek carbon steeds that made their debuts this weekend. -Sven Martin
One wonders what these two wonder women wonder about. -Sven Martin
Ratboy or Manon? Backlit champage supernova. -Duncan Philpott
Champagne showers and podium antics for the women. -Sven Martin
Emotional win for Sam after the tough battle back to 100% fitness. The crowds and fellow riders felt it too and were more than stoked on his return to the top step. -Sven Martin
It's pissing out there! -Duncan Philpott
A pretty good way to end. @maddogboris
A better end. @maddogboris
