Adam Brayton changed that 2 to a 1 today. While most riders from the UK probably would have preferred conditions to be a bit on the damp side, Brayton seemed to have no problems with the dry, qualifying 2nd and turning it up a notch to beat Gee Atherton for the victory. The race field was stacked with World Cup contenders who were preparing for the first 2013 World Cup event in Fort William later this week. Brayton's victory was outstanding.
