Big Wheel Drum Tester 1

Here’s the first test machine we were shown. It’s dubbed the “Big Wheel” Drum Tester and is used to test wheels and forks for up to 24 hours at a time. Various weights are loaded on the top to simulate the weight of a rider. It’s caged just in case something fails and goes flying. Often times that’s the goal – to see how long it takes to break something under extremely abusive conditions.
