Should we wait for a DVO enduro rear shock? And will we be able to get a deal by purchasing a diamond and the rear shock?

From what we've been told at Vital, DVO is working on an air shock, as well as a custom tune for their Jade coil shock designed to work well for enduro bikes. The air shock will be shown later this year/early next, and may still be a ways out.

Yeah, a real overkill... Especially considering i'm now riding a 140 mm with a 20 mm axle (the old Pike). And the fact that you have the Lyrik, Domain, the 36 and Marzocchi's 55, which all have a 20 mm axle. And Fabien Barell, who said a 15 mm axle on 160 mm is not stiff enough. Okay, he pushes the bike as far as it goes, but still. I prefer to have a heavier bike, if that means i don't have to wrench it every two weeks.

A lot of it has to do with how much material you have at the drop out area. You can have a 20mm axle but if the interface between the drop out and leg is spindly you will have flex. We choose to add more material at the drop out and go with a thicker15mm axle. Cheers, dvo.

I ask whats the price? Plus for a 160mm fork, 20mm axle would be overkill and most wheels are coming out now with adapters for both.

They sold CG on a heavier platform in exchange for stifness, yet there's no 20 mm axle?!?! O_O

We have a stiffer magnesium casting with more material around the drop out area and on the fork legs, this provides a stiffer structure than a 20mm axle would provide. Plus, we won't make a spindly thin axle that will flex.

I'd like a 140-170mm triple clamp. Or at least 20mm axle like Johan said.

finally someone has gotten the message, normal lSC/HSC adjustment on a short travel fork. Now we need them to get the straigt 1.1/8 and 20mm axel message and we have our selves products that make sense

Yup! We will have high speed and low speed plus shims on both the rebound/mid valve and compression valve. No 3 position generic settings for us! Cheers, dvo.
