<b>After years of development with the help of Five Ten's Pro athletes, the long awaited Kestrel clipless shoe is ready for production.</b>
<b>The shoe combines high performance and traction while remaining comfortable. A carbon infused shank will make it the stiffest shoe in their lineup.</b>
<b>The sole has Five Ten's softest Mi6 rubber is in the toe and heel and a slightly harder C4 rubber surrounding the cleat.</b>
<b>They walk the fine line between weather resistance, light weight, and maximum breathability.</b>
<b>A reinforced toe around the strike zone provides protection against impacts.</b>
<b>The ratcheting BOA closure system is incredibly easy to use.</b>
<b>You can snug or loosen the shoe with just one hand, even while riding.</b>
<b>The Kestrel weighs just 403g (size 43) and will retail for $180. Availability is expected to be April 2015.</b>
<b>Also new is the Freerider Contact, previously known as the Freerider VXi. It features a slim new design, updated uppers, mesh tongue, and the sole is sewn to the toe box for better durability. The sole still uses their ultra grippy Mi6 rubber combined with a smooth portion around the ball for easier repositioning. Weight is 390g (size 43). MSRP $120.</b>
