Richie Rude blew everyone out of the park, and finished the final stage of the day 12 seconds up on Yeti teammate Jared Graves. -AJ Barlas

Jared Graves had a tough time on Stage 1, with a couple of mistakes seeing him start the day with a 13th place, some 22-seconds off stage winner, Josh Carlson. -AJ Barlas

Cecile Ravanel rode like she was possessed. Stage 1 loam smashing on her way to a 2nd place finish. -AJ Barlas

Richie Rude pushed hard on every stage and had many with their jaws on the floor after. Stage 3 was one of his strongest, with a 2nd place finish. -AJ Barlas

Graves about to drop into the remains of what was once a bermed corner on Stage 3. Aside from the final stage, this was his strongest result, with a 4th place finish. -AJ Barlas

Leov is already looking ahead to the time when he can come back strong. Whether that's later this season or early next is uncertain for now. -Brandon Turman

Nico Lau building momentum on Stage 2. A flat tire on Stage 4 saw his podium hopes dashed. He would have been a strong contender for a Top 3 position. -AJ Barlas

Francois Bailley-Maitre of BMC had a great day and came away with a 5th place. He does still take chances, saving an amazing lipslide drift down the ridge of this rock roll on No Joke. -Sven Martin

Cody Kelley and his golden locks get aggressive on Stage 1. The young American's first EWS event saw him finsh a respectable 38th place. -AJ Barlas

Nico Vouilloz had an eventful race, with a number of crashes setting him back in ninth place for the day. -AJ Barlas

Anneke Beerten on the steep chute that caused so many riders trouble on Stage 1. She finished the day in fourth place. Stage 3 was when she found her consistency for the rest of the day. -AJ Barlas

The forest higher up on Stage 1 is something to be seen, but don't let this calm appearance fool you, it's riddled with steeps and tech sections. -AJ Barlas

Dan Atherton had a good end to the race with a 3rd on the final Stage 5. -John Parkin

Despite claiming she'd never do it, Miranda Miller found herself giving enduro a go. 6th place for the downhill World Cup shredder. -AJ Barlas

Martin Maes edging ever-so-close to that Whistler podium. Stage 1 and 2 were troublesome for Maes, but he threw down on the following 3, putting him in 4th place for the day. -AJ Barlas
