Nicolai continues to push the long, low, slack geometry concept to the extremes. Following a lengthy test period with Chris Porter from MOJO UK, Nicolai decided that this idea was worth pursing at a production level. The extremely long reach measurements create a better weight distribution for descending which helps make the bike more stable resulting in fewer OTB instances. This could create for a ride that could be held wide open at all times. Nicolai believes so strongly in the concept that the wild geometry is used across their full range of two-wheelers.
The ION-G19 QLFLINE downhill bike features 193mm of rear travel, is 16.2kg (size L), and retails for 6,999 Euros.
