Not everyday we get to see backflips and World Cup DH speeds all in the same afternoon. Sven, Boris and Dan capture the chaos of Snowshoe's gnarly course!

Charlie Harrison looked comfortable on the track before most others and laid down the fastest time of the day. -Dan Hearn
Charlie Harrison had the time of his life today. Keep that going and smash it in finals dude! @maddogboris
Charlie was the only rider who pre-jumped into the steepest section of the track. @maddogboris
Tracey Hannah isn't looking to take risks but instead, set a solid time to take the World Cup overall. Being fastest in timed training will give her confidence going into qualifying. -Dan Hearn
Kaos Seagrave was first to flip the opening jump in Group B practice, after a test jump The only way Brendan Fairclough could go one better was to flip it blindly with no test jump. Rampage watch out. -Sven Martin
Bernard Kerr in audio (not pictured). A shame that some riders lobbied the UCI to lower the tape and poles to open up this "sideline" - thus avoiding a perfectly good jump. A tricky call as it is a short, lippy jump that could be dangerous or difficult at speed, but speed control is part of the game, Thibaut Daprela with the French Line that most will now take come race runs. -Sven Martin
World Champion, Myriam Nicole, with perfect posture and focus. Last race of the year filled with both highs and lows. WHERE IS YOUR RAINBOW JERSEY?!? -Sven Martin
You were lucky if this fella woke up to hit the split time, ending sector three and beginning sector four. #partyinthewoods. -Sven Martin
Pits at the top of the hill means lift beers on the way back up! -Dan Hearn
It's a pretty nice Jurassic Park forest around here. -Dan Hearn
Never too old to have fun. Greg Minnaar, no feet, one wheel. @maddogboris
Foot out flat out Greg Minnaar. @maddogboris
Loris is feeling sore after a crash at Worlds but managing to ride fairly pain-free. -Dan Hearn
Sometimes when you move spots and your camera settings are all over the place you get some interesting stuff! -Dan Hearn
No full timed training run for Laurie Greenland, but looking one of the quickest out there on track. -Dan Hearn
Fourth fastest junior today, Zak Gomilscek. -Dan Hearn
World Champ, Kye A'hern, was the fastest junior today by just over three seconds. -Dan Hearn
This section leads into much flatter woods for a few hundred meters, so hitting this berm right is crucial to carrying speed. -Dan Hearn
Marine Cabirou pushed on in timed training but stopped after the first split where she was up by one second. She would be a good one to back for finals! -Dan Hearn
Thomas Estaque, looking on form with an eighth place in timed training. -Dan Hearn
Troy Brosnan dialing in his line to carry maximum speed into the next flatter section. -Dan Hearn
Loic Bruni getting acquainted with the mossy middle forest. -Dan Hearn
Sam Blenkinsop, precision gapping this sketchy rock section and making it look easy. -Dan Hearn
Kade Edwards styling over the long road gap near the top of the track. -Dan Hearn
Never doubt that Kade Edwards knows how to go sideways. #past90 -Dan Hearn
Matt Walker was loving the first jump. It's not often riders actually session a jump on a race track just for fun. -Dan Hearn
Unfortunately, Neko Mulally had a weird crash today, got his foot caught under the bike and broke his fibula. He's gutted not to be racing here in Snowshoe. -Dan Hearn
#USDH junior, Anna Newkirk, ready to rock at her home race. -Dan Hearn
First rider down in Group A training, Danny Hart had a lot of riders' eyes watching as he hit the first jump. His first run down was a 3:22, only 4 seconds off Charlie's fastest time. -Dan Hearn
Emilie Siegenthaler had no problems sending the big jump on her first run. -Dan Hearn
Kaos Seagrave, straight out the start hut and into what we reckon could be the first-ever backflip at a downhill World Cup. -Dan Hearn
Vali Höll showing off her ninja warm-up techniques. -Dan Hearn
Rafael Gutierrez on the hunt. -Sven Martin
Mike check. -Sven Martin
@La_ChillZone -Sven Martin
Estaque got excited when he passed us overhead on the lift, telling me to get ready for a bar dragging scrub. Well, that happened but it ended like this. -Sven Martin
Finn Iles took a nasty spill today and skipped the rest of practice. He will give it a try again tomorrow. Hopefully, it's not too bad. -Sven Martin
Tahnee Seagrave not afraid to send it sideways with the boys. -Sven Martin
Mille Johnset shredding the corner before the big step down. Full commitment when you see the size of the gap. -Sven Martin
It's refreshing to see such a progressive jump on a World Cup track that takes skill and control to hit at speed. Eliot Jackson in audio. -Sven Martin
Aaron Gwin on a solo ride through the beautiful hardwood native forest. -Sven Martin
A lot of pressure to hit a brand new, big jump first. For normal people that is. Danny Hart goes sideways and opens Elite Training. -Sven Martin
Greg Williamson using the last little corner of his knobs. -Sven Martin
Kaos Seagrave stood out in Group B practice and sessioned the hip for a while before doing full runs. -Sven Martin
No surprise that Charlie Harrison went fastest today. He was accompanied by Brook Macdonald all day. -Sven Martin
Loic Bruni with not a strand of hair out of place. #DOD -Sven Martin

Marine Cabirou carving through Middle Earth. -Sven Martin
Jacob Dickson railing the bowl to bowl corners. -Sven Martin
Amaury Pierron in the incredibly rocky and slippery rock garden, one of many on this track. Red clay mixed with mud and loose rocks means every run is a bit of a gamble. -Sven Martin
Charlie Hatton getting tweaked on the tight step-down, let's see if he can continue his trend of moving up the results sheet and end with a top ten. -Sven Martin
Vali Höll through the middle woods. Corner and track speed will be key to doing well as it makes up a fair chunk of the track. -Sven Martin
Cathro Vision, it's like living life on a ladder. -Sven Martin
Autumn is here and the leaves, they are a-changing. -Sven Martin
Grant Sides with the secret to Charlie Harrison's success. -Sven Martin
Johannes von Klebelsberg, the Denim Destroyer, made it out and was top ten in timed training. -Sven Martin
Missy Giove getting some suspension love from Todd at RockShox today. Hopefully, we get to see her on track. -Sven Martin
This is a simple trail feature but tricky to do just right at speed. Dakota Norton executes it perfectly, hopping the rock super low, and using the tiny slit on the left to land sooner and set up for the flat corner. -Sven Martin
Mark Wallace sometimes gets tagged as Troy Brosnan on Instagram, but today there was no mistaking the Canuk. -Sven Martin
Tracey Hannah with the fastest timed training run. @maddogboris
Danny Hart was pinned all day...let´s see if he can finish the season with a win. @maddogboris
Mille Johnset was the only girl in Group B who jumped the road gap. @maddogboris

Aaron Gwin into the dark. @maddogboris
Peace Luca Shaw! @maddogboris
The road gap on the top of the track is pretty huge. @maddogboris
Bruce Klein getting low over the road gap. @maddogboris

Valis Höll's mechanic, Matt Gallean, with one last check before training. @maddogboris
Tahnee Seagrave with the extra warm-up for her shoulder while her brother, Kaos, is already ready for training. They were both in Group B here in Snowshoe. @maddogboris
