Dust, dust and more dust. Andorra, which is always steep and always rough, seemed even steeper and rougher under such dry conditions for timed training at the 2019 UCI Mountain Bike World Cup. Loris Vergier and Marine Cabirou nabbed the fastest Elite times as riders did their best to survive. Speaking of surviving, Sven Martin, @maddogboris and Dan Hearn barely do just that to bring us the goods.

Loris Vergier carries on where he left off last year. Fastest today. -Sven Martin
Fastest Elite Woman today, Marine Cabirou. That's the section with the new corner to slow down the speed. @maddogboris
Marine Cabirou not afraid to get sideways on the sender. -Sven Martin
Finn Iles leaving the track in pieces with #bermsplosion after #bermsplosion. He makes our job a bit easier, always fast and stylish. Oh, and 2nd fastest today. @maddogboris
Yeooow! Happy Independence Day, America! Aaron Gwin rocking the flag. @maddogboris
Happy 4th of July Aaron and John! @maddogboris
Aaron Gwin also suffering from a lack of traction at the top of the famous photographers berms. -Dan Hearn
BK whipping up a storm - although it looks like we've evaded the thunderstorms for a while. It's going to be a dusty one! -Dan Hearn
David Trummer showing his speed and potential here today, fourth fastest. -Sven Martin
Third fastest and series leader, Troy Brosnan! @maddogboris
Brook MacDonald sends her sideways while Eliot Jackson gives knowledge. -Sven Martin
(NTMB...never too much brook). A loose moment from Brook Macdonald, but he is enjoying the track and trying to methodically get up to speed (which is crazy because he's already hauling). -Dan Hearn
Not much maintenance was done since last year and new roots and rocks are being exposed almost every run. Gee in audio. -Dan Hearn
With a fair bit of experience on this track, there aren't many people better equipped to give line advice to the Syndicate boys. Peaty is stoked someone finally sent the daunting gap near the bottom of the track, now called The Whopper. -Dan Hearn
Bridges make you dizzy. -Sven Martin
Fox ran out of sick riding kit so Kaos decided to dress as a massage table for a bit. -Dan Hearn
Kaos has been dying to show off this new Fox kit for a while now. -Dan Hearn
Matt Sterling fresh off his CWX slalom win slotting along the bridge. -Sven Martin
Celebrate good times, come on. -Sven Martin
Tahnee co-hosting with Eliot Jackson this weekend and the guest on Loic Bruni's Outspoken this week. -Sven Martin
Matt Walker didn't look wild in the dusty conditions but was certainly smooth. We're expecting a fast time from the young Brit come qualis. -Dan Hearn
Danny Hart always fast out here. -Sven Martin
Happy birthday and happy fourth of July, Coach. -Sven Martin
It was such a long drawing day that Dan Hearn (who is a vegetarian) couldn't resist the ribs the SRAM put on for the 4th of July BBQ. -Sven Martin
Loic skips a dog-leg chicane and cuts the line fine. -Sven Martin
(NTML...never too much Loic). All alone battling the elements out here in hot dry Andorra. -Sven Martin
Finn with the scrub, which TEAMROBOT will call a whip. -Sven Martin
Minnaar slides sideways through the middle berms. -Sven Martin
Mark Wallace looks like he is waterskiing with the roost wake. -Sven Martin
Amaury is almost a local with Commencal being based here in Andorra. The pressure will be on for the win in front of the "home crowd." -Sven Martin
Vali Holl sends the proper high "Ben Cathro" rough line with consequence on her first run this morning. -Sven Martin
Jacob Dickson holding on to his prototype 29er Giant for dear life. -Dan Hearn
Marcelo Gutierrez with some new experience and some new 29er flip flops? @maddogboris
Someone went for the full Aaron Gwin effect in training. -Dan Hearn
First uplift for junior women early this morning. -Sven Martin
Spomer would have shot a G-Out Project here. I shot a 4th of July shale fireworks explosion because I'm more patriotic than he is. -Sven Martin
Rachel Atherton into the first long off-camber traverse. -Sven Martin
George Brannigan squeezes through the narrow trees. -Sven Martin
Tracey Hannah looking to keep her #1 plate this weekend. -Sven Martin
Connor Fearon has one of the best turns in the business, full gas and commitment in a less-than-perfect berm. -Sven Martin
Up close and personal with Loris Vergier. One of the six to send the Whopper Gap pioneered by Bernard Kerr. -Sven Martin
Early Morning Views in Andorra while training. @maddogboris
Fabien Barel explaining lines to Mark Wallace and Kye A´Hern. @maddogboris
Interesting fact: Canyon is leading the Elite Men's XC WC, Elite Men's DH WC and Elite Men EWS Overall. Here Mark Wallace gettin' ready to send it on the motorway jumps. @maddogboris
First runs in A practice were so dusty that the riders had to stop in the woods because they couldn't see the track. @maddogboris
You should have seen this scrub with your own eyes! The Bulldog is on it. @maddogboris
Emilie Siegenthaler with the 3rd fastest time in timed training. @maddogboris
Jack is confident that Loic will find his speed for finals on Saturday. @maddogboris
Mariana Salazar 5th fastest today and way leaned over. @maddogboris
Flo Payet was looking fast before... @maddogboris
...he found the limit of the high line. This berm didn't survive the day very well either. -Dan Hearn
Remi Thirion into the dust out of the dust. @maddogboris
Kye A´Hern with the second-fastest Junior Men's time. Quali is going to be a battle. @maddogboris
Mitch Ropelato shows how it's done. @maddogboris
Always stoked Cedric Gracia, especially when we all visit him in his hometown. @maddogboris
Mid-training track work. Maybe the red flag would have been a bit safer. @maddogboris
Amaury Pierron going wild. @maddogboris
Rachel Atherton still working on the perfect setup. @maddogboris
Nina Hoffmann obviously happy to be in Andorra @maddogboris
