When Pearl Izumi started designing for 2016, they started with the women's line with a focus on fit and ensuring they pedal well. Their apparel is performance driven, but still keeps looking good in mind. These were some of the items we took a look at:

The Launch Thermal jersey is a winter-weight long sleeve jersey constructed with brushed back Thermal fabric that provides both warmth and moisture transfer for chilly rides. This jersey has a hidden lens wipe and is available in two colors.

The Launch jersey has a 3/4 and short sleeve version. These also have sunglass wipes sewn inside and come in three colors each.

The Summit short for trail riding has a tapered fit that pairs equally well with a loose-fitting or more snug style jersey. The stretch fabric has a water resistant DWR treatment to help keep you dry, snag free internal waist adjusters, and an 11" inseam (size M). The Summit short will come in three colors: Purple Wine, Black, and Monument Grey.

The Elevate short for all-mountain or enduro riding is a looser fit than the Summit short, and is constructed from durable four-way stretch fabric with a water resistant DWR treatment. There is plenty of room for kneepads underneath these shorts. They have snag free internal waist adjusters and a 13" inseam length (size M). The Elevate short will come in Black and Monument Grey color options.

As we face the onset of fall and inevitable approach of winter, the Launch Capri is an item that would probably be nice for those cooler rides. It has articulated knees to maximize freedom of movement, a large waistband with belt loops, snag free internal waist adjustment, and two zippered hand pockets. The capri is made from stretch fabric, has a 20-1/2" inseam (size M), and will come in Black and Purple Wine colors.
