Another man with a break at Fort William was Sam Dale. Hoping to prove himself this year puncturing in the Mont Sainte Anne finals set him back a little. However, the friendly giant was well on pace today, perhaps spurred on by recently hand rearing an abandoned baby bird in his Windham accommodation (true story).
