I could see him fitting in the silhouette, but from the riding video it doesn’t look like him. Legs are too short. Benoit has a really distinct look on the bike and I don’t think that’s him. I think he is staying with Dorval Commencal or whatever that team name is going to be this year.

Australian national DH champs is at Jack's home track this year (Awaba). Winning that would guarantee him a spot at world champs so it might make sense for him to be getting in some DH laps

I reckon this is what it would look like if you asked a rider like Coulanges to throw some style for the camera 😂 Realistically it could be anyone but I’d love to see Benoit cash in on a team like Canyon after his win in Les Gets this year.
I think the most written phrase on this rumor thread is "MS Intense." I'm curious if anyone has anything more than speculation that such a team would exist. As far as I can tell, this ... team ... was not spun out of any actual think being revealed, leaked, etc...but just someone thinking it could happen.
I do not think Intense will have a team as we have seen in the past...can anyone point to anything.
I feel confident Gwin will still race. Gonna absolutely rep the US in world champs. I suspect he will do well, too.
I also feel confident that Mondraker will be Pinkerton, Dunne, and Norton. Maybe Craik also, as there is a good Pinkerton connection.

First big piece of news today (but not the last... ;-) ):
Ready for 2024 with new roster
The SCOTT DH Factory welcomes Ethan Craik (GBR) and Gonçalo Bandeira (POR) as the latest additions to its roster for the 2024 DH race season.
Nimes, France, Jan 4th. The SCOTT DH Factory adds no less than two talented riders to their ranks, recently signing young racers (20yo each), Ethan Craik and Gonçalo Bandeira, for the 2024 DH racing season and beyond. The two young men have a promising future in the sport given their highlights from last season. They will join Dylan Levesque and Marine Cabirou forming a rather solid squad.
Ethan has already earned a set of impressive results in DH World Cup racing, finishing 2nd at the last 2023 World Cup and never lower than top 10 over the season! Add to that a 3rd place at European Champs last year and 2020 Junior World Cup overall winner, the young Brit has some serious speed on offer. Despite his young age, Gonçalo is a 7-time Portuguese National Champion! He has a lot of momentum coming off some strong results in 2023 and several top-20's prior.
Later this month, the SCOTT DH Factory will charge out of the gate strong, committing to a training camp to start preparation for the season, setting up bikes, and of course, pushing themselves to ride as fast as humanly possible through terrain worthy of a World Cup. Stay tuned for more!
"I couldn't be happier joining SCOTT DH Factory. I've had a very warm welcome and I'm stoked to be representing such an iconic brand with such a cool history. All the people in the factory and the team fill me with confidence that we can reach that top step together. I'm loving the Gambler and I look forward to racing it!" -Ethan Craik, SCOTT DH Factory
"Joining an elite team was always a dream for me so it feels unreal to accomplish this life goal. The hard work starts now. I've been riding the Gambler for some time now and I'm sure I can deliver at SCOTT, all the people at the factory and in the team gave me a warm welcome - no doubt the future will be bright!" - Gonçalo Bandeira, SCOTT DH Factory
“We are delighted to have Ethan and Gonçalo on board for 2024, young and talented riders that will be solid additions to our already proven squad with Marine Cabirou and Dylan Levesque”, says Patrice Afflatet, team manager SCOTT DH Factory.
The SCOTT DH Factory - Partners Stepping into 2024, the SCOTT DH Factory relies on the same fantastic partners as throughout 2023. The team successfully managed to establish itself on the DH World Cup circuit as a team to be reckoned with thanks to the support from FOX, MAXXIS, SHIMANO, CHATEL and SCOTT! The team is already working hard to take their performance to the next level in 2024.
The SCOTT DH Factory rides the following: SCOTT Gambler Frame
Fox 40 Fork Fox DHX2 / Float X2 shock RaceFace Atlas Wheelsets Maxxis Assegai and DHR2 Tires Shimano Saint Drivetrain Shimano XTR or Saint Brakes, 203mm Friza rotors Syncros Saddles, Handlebars and Stems
Still running Burgtec grips there though. Could be he's testing other components for his new set up, or it's just what the brand had available to build up a bike for him.

I mean, that could also be MS Racing desperate for a new major sponsor and trying to convince Intense to hook them up. Maybe they will put Intense bikes under both Gwin and Dak, but under separate teams?
Good sign for Scott, they badly needed a top 10 rider to bring their name back to the front pages. With Craik, Levesque ( who is on the up) and Marine, that's a good team right there.

When was the last time a gambler was on an elite men’s podium?
That was close in Loudenvielle last year with Dylan being 6th at a hair of podium... Also pretty close for Brendan and Dean in 2019... not mentioning seven world-cup win for Marine and countless podiums...
Let's see what 2024 will bring !
Hear me out. Gwin stays on Intense frames but surrenders ownership of a team because of the bike park purchase. IFR was under his ownership and is just rebranded and falls back to rider instead of team owner
THIBAUT DAPRELA ON CANYON CLLCTV - def didn't see this coming! press release below
THE CANYON CLLCTV DH TEAM WELCOMES FRENCH FASTMAN THIBAUT DAPRELA
The Canyon CLLCTV is starting 2024 with a bang, welcoming one of the fastest riders in the men's DH field to the team: Thibaut Daprela.
At just 22 years old, Thibaut has already racked up an impressive list of wins. From multiple Elite World Cup victories to clinching the overall title twice as a junior, Daprela’s mind-blowing pace and aggressive riding style have delivered incredible results.
“I’m very proud to be part of the Canyon CLLCTV. It’s a big family with multiple champions and results. The energy and technology that Canyon brings into the race world are amazing, and it’s the spirit I’m looking for. I am stoked to start the season with my CLLCTV Factory DH team mates. Also, it’s a great opportunity to be working with Gabe Fox and Fabien Barel, who have huge experience on the World Cup scene. I’m excited for this new chapter and already feeling at home on the bike. Let the fun begin!" - Thibaut Daprela
Canyon’s passion for gravity racing has been fueling the brand’s MTB product and innovation for over a decade. Working with the fastest riders on the planet enables Canyon to continue pushing the limits and driving future developments.
“It is a great opportunity for our factory team to welcome Thibaut with his young age next to experienced riders like Troy and Luca. I have been following Thibaut's progression for many years, and his passion to win and determination are unmatched. I believe we have an incredibly strong team for 2024, and I deeply look forward to the coming season." - Fabien Barel, Canyon CLLCTV Team Mentor.
Daprela and his Canyon CLLCTV DH team mates will be supported by handpicked partners in their search for wins and podiums around the globe. SRAM, RockShox, Troy Lee Designs, DT Swiss, Maxxis, Crankbrothers, Ergon, Maurten, Dynamic Bike Care, E-13, Chris King, and Albek will support the team in 2024.
I could see him fitting in the silhouette, but from the riding video it doesn’t look like him. Legs are too short. Benoit has a really distinct look on the bike and I don’t think that’s him. I think he is staying with Dorval Commencal or whatever that team name is going to be this year.

Canyon : Antoine Pierron ?
Australian national DH champs is at Jack's home track this year (Awaba). Winning that would guarantee him a spot at world champs so it might make sense for him to be getting in some DH laps
Bandeira has to be one and the other ... Ethan Craik?
It's either him or he's the new Canyon rider, although Antoine Pierron is a good fit there.
Craik on the new MS …… team with a internet podcast top level rider and another uk based rider who’s previously been riding with intensity
Banderia and Craik to Scott
Hugo Marini on Canyon Factory most likely, Antoine Pierron was already on the Canyon Pirelli team for a season and left, so can't see him going back.
Ollie Davis is on a Commencal team I think.
There was a pic of Dunne with a seat mast that looked like an unno but maybe it was a canyon like Bleeder19 said. Old edit but so good

MS Intense?... For some reason I am thinking that is a tracer. Ohlins, renthal..

E-enduro is my guess

That landscape sure looks like the hill "he" was riding in the Norco teaser from yesterday.

Greg still on fox too, but am i alone to see a yellow fork knob ???
I hope you do realise the difference between Fox, the clothing company, and Fox, the suspension company.
