I was watching it on the Olympic Channel which I think was the NBC broadcast. I tried to watch on Redbull.tv through a VPN (france and netherlands) and couldn't get it to play. It kept saying "broadcast error" or something.

Kate has fractured her neck in a practice crash too... Update on Insta.
This weekend was particularly brutal at MSA. I hope they don't nerf the track too much for next year.

Ironic how relaxed Leatt has become sponsoring many riders with gear and helmets etc, but leaving off their best protection device.. their neck brace....../ just an observation. (before all the negative comment trolls arise. , High C fractures usually are a result of axial loading on the neck, which ironically is one thing neck braces help to mitigate)......

oh and aside from the coverage being sub-par to normal even through redbull.... Rob and claudio banter was ok pity they actually werent there on site to actually do interviews etc......

He clipped a pedal and crashed pretty close to the start. Seemed relatively uninjured though.

anyone watch on nbc sports? assuming warner and claudio were not the commentators? vpn fine here too (sadly)
Yeah. I watched women's on Red Bull and mens on NBC later as I couldn't get the app to work for mens. The Reb Bull was slightly better but all the commentors seemed lost and almost like mystery science theater lol. NBC seemed to have the British announcers.

Any current news on Brook?

So apparently this trackside dude was trying to get in Loic's head by "flossing" as he went by during his race run. He seems to be wearing headphones...a competitor's team or even part of the organizing teamr?

Flossman looks like he's on Zone B of the track (trackside secure area), which means he must have credentials.

If he snuck in, then the organizer didn't do a good job of securing the area, particularly near a split marker too.

He probably is the split marker. It's not uncommon for the split times to be recorded manually be someone pushing a button. To be fair though, given where he's standing and the pace riders are going I highly doubt he'd even register in Loic's line of sight. Even if it did it's unlikely to have caught his attention more than any of the other hundred people waving stuff around trackside.

Exactly. How is this any different to someone waving a fucking chainsaw around? I would doubt Loic as any recollection of that, even from my brief experience sucking at racing DH, I cant recall ever focusing on anyone anywhere during a race run. Camera flashes in your eyes though, that's a different story.

Loic: If I'm up in the splits, boogie boogie. If I'm down, show me the moon.

Team France Manager: Oui. Aimez vous le floss?

On another note, after some instagram snooping, it appears the frenchies are now the loosest crew on the tour, far surpassing the Vanzacs. They sure look like they win the afterparty as well as the race these days.

He had Ice on his bad wrist, so, hopefully he can still race W Va.

Am I the only one looking for a replay for us in the USA?! So bummed on the situation, but I cannot find a replay on Redbull, it gives an error - but props to Vital for the best coverage as always!!

On my cell phone I disabled wi-fi, opened the red bull app, and then streamed on Apple TV from my phone to watch it live. Not sure if it will work of for replay though.

Get PRIVATE INTERNET ACCESS (PIA) app, you can use it on 10 devices, it will cloak your IP from another country, so you are not geoblocked from redbull coverage of worlds. NBC paid big money to drive traffic/viewership to it's site-basically for the Olympic build up (XC of course). So, we're lucky Redbull even has it, you just have to get a VPN when viewing from USA.
I used PIA to watch and it was awesome, had to use it to watch the BMX world champs as well, that was also geoblocked because NBC paid big money for rights....and we don't have to pay NBC the $55 for gold pass.

I have the Red Bull App on my TV and opened it like normal to watch the replay in the US. Strangely you couldnt pause, rewind, or FF the broadcast though. I made the mistake of stopping it after the women's and had to restart the whole broadcast to get to the men's.
