In recent pictures from the Rock Shox enduro, Hill has kitted out in Mavic gear (not helmet) so will he or the whole CRC team be running Mavic kit?? It's also not like Royal don't do any enduro style clothing...

This is definitelly not a Demo, SPecialized has always used links rotating in the same direction (CW from the drive side), not a CCW upper link (like Nicolai, Lapierre and others for example do).

I'd say it's a VPP bike, my first thought was the V10, but maybe it can be something new from Intense?

Off topic, but I knew that from growing up in the back of a VW Bus, "Farren nur mit der (German for sliding door open.)" I guess they drive bikes and or ride cars. Hey Primoz, what's the proper German for "Sliding door open."?

Once I got the keys we did it anyway. You just gotta play airship gunner when you have the option.

Anyway, back to the news...

Sliding door = Schiebetür
open = offen

We only drive with the sliding door open. = Wir fahren nur mit offener Schiebetür.

Is that, what you needed?

I'd say it said driving with sliding doors closed only, not open Smile Closed would be geschlossen. Can't comment about sliding door, Monarch's answer looks okay, but i'm not that good with german (yet).

Thanks guys, but I said back to business.

Could the Bikes On Bikes 2.0 video be a hint at the KTM Downhill Team? Maybe they'll be on re-branded Scott DH bikes and be funded buy KTM Moto instead of the heavy, low end bikes that KTM Bikes now makes.

Well women's soccer and rugby are clearly not as popular as men's is. But there are sports that are just as popular on both sides. A pair of them is alpine skiing and cross country skiing (and volleyball and handball, compared to soccer or rugby), which are actually quite similar to some mountain biking disciplines. The main thing in these though is that women's and men's races are separate from each other.

I suppose women's DH would benefit from that too, maybe employ tracks that are a bit easier, but still fast and interesting. Though for that to happen the sport needs more money, more support and probably live TV coverage.
maybe like golf there could be a ladies tee

Kenda and Box? Did they do some bad shit in a previous life or what? That's like moving the start gate back 20 meters.

It's neat to see different drivetrain company sponsoring a top team with high profile riders other than Sram and Shimano. I think it is good for the sport. With the MS Mondraker Team on Marzocchi and now the Polygon Team on BOX Components that makes for two brands that could become common on world cup podiums this year that are different from the norm as of late.

progressjc Marzocchi has been with Mondraker since... Forever? MS used to run Manitous when they were still with Intense and were with FOX on Evil? I think they went M as soon as they got the Mondraker frames.

And Marzocchi is certainly not on BOX's level when it comes to being new, unknown and unproven. They just lost their way a bit, but i'm sensing they more than found it (they just couldn't put that into OEM yet). But the OEM part takes time, Rock Shox was nowhere 5 years ago, then BAM, Pike and Monarch Plus make all the difference, now there are tons of fully SRAM bikes out there.

Primoz you're correct. Looks like trek wanted everyone on the same parts list this year. Rene has been included in trek team points though.
