PB(and Vital) have some pix of Brendog's new Scott and everyone on PB is going nuts about the linkages. Im wondering why he has a Cane Creek coil on his Fox rear shock.

That's just a Cane Creek ti spring. The shock itself is a Fox.

Greg Minnaar and Aaron Gwin were at the top of qualifying today .008 seconds apart, with Stevie Smith coming in 3rd less than a second back. Should be a close race, we will just have to wait and see what the weather does.

Tracy qualified 1st for the woman, based on the split times it looks like Manon Carpenter was having a great run on the top of the course.

SRAM made up some X0 cranks with a power meter in them. Good for collecting and analyzing data.

Good info in this blog post from Jill - http://jillkintner.com/blog/?p=4210

"Minnaar and Gwin had a really tight battle, Minnaar won by .008 seconds. Gwin didn’t pedal to the line, so there you go, nothing in it."

So there I was, watching the men's XC race (hey, c'mon, Warner on the mic + I was curious to see how the Red Bull feed would hold up...), trying to figure out what the weather would do before submitting my OTB prediction. In the end, it seemed it would hold off, and the forecasts on the web said dry for racing tomorrow, so I went ahead and submitted. 5 minutes later, Twitter reports bucketing over PMB...Murphy you shit. Smile

PS. The Red Bull webcast is freakin awesome. About 8x better than ye ole Freecaster...

Does anyone know how big Greg's front chain ring was? In all the pictures it looks HUGE! 44-48t?

To me it appears like a 40T but it's hard to tell with the bash guard infront of it
