Wolf Tooth ReMote Sustain and 7iDP Gloves Reviewed by Top Member Reviewer and Jenson USA Award Winner 1

Wolf Tooth ReMote Sustain for RockShox Reverb - "Installing the lever was a breeze if you have installed a shifter before you can install this lever. If your bike has internal routing this might slow you down, but that is not the fault of the sustain system. 

The lever has texture on it which adds grip, and the shape and location feel similar to a shifter lever so it is very intuitive. The post returns consistently and smoothly, and I have yet to have any issues, even in cold whether, which slowed the post way down with the old hydraulic line. The cable does stretch out after a few rides, but you simply twist the barrel adjuster a few times and are back to having solid performance. Not having to worry about bleeding the lines or having a slow post in cold weather has been huge, and makes the post totally worth it to me. I have also found the lever to be easier to push and simply better than the old plunger style lever, and even the 1x lever from Rockshox. I did crash with the system and the plastic bushing in the lever broke, but this was by design to prevent damage to the more expensive parts of the lever. I got cheap replacements from Wolf Tooth and carry one in my pack as a backup. I like that a $4 part breaks rather than a $60 lever.

I can honestly say that this has been an amazing upgrade to my bike, and leaves me worry free over my dropper. A little on the pricey side, but the frustrations it eliminates makes it all worth it!" - Read the full review»

7iDP Transition Gloves - "The super thin cuff was a huge attractor, I wanted a glove that made it feel like I wasn’t wearing gloves, but protected my hands. What surprised me was how thick the palms on these gloves were, they feel substantial and durable and the venting holes are a nice touch. The mesh portion on the other hand is very comfortable and lightweight, and the cuff still fits snug. I found the logo on the top (I got the blue gloves with the highlighter green logo) to feel a bit cheap, and I assumed it would peel off easily, but that has yet to be the case.

One of the best qualities of these gloves in my opinion is that they fit so snug and are thin enough that you can easily complete tasks without taking your gloves off, working on the bike, getting things out of your pack, and even texting is all doable (from my experience) with the gloves on. The only major downside that I have found is that they offer little to no protection on the top of the hand to protect against rocks and branches, but I would much rather have cooler more comfortable gloves with less protection rather than large knuckle protection. It really comes down to personal preference, where you ride, and your affinity for hitting trees." - Read the full review»
