Hi. Chris King specifically states that Dropset 5 is not compatible with 2021/2022 Stumpy EVO. Looks like you are running it. Comments?

Oh shoot really? I actually bought dropset 5 when it first came out and actually e-mailed Chris King about it. They said it should work as it was designed for specialize bike. I actually still have their email. Looks like they updated their website. I found that I had to tighten the top cap a little more than it should. I also found that the fitting for the upper bearing was a lot tighter in the adjustable cup (the +1 and -1 degree) to the point that the upper bearing would get stuck. The neutral head cup was fine. I tested all three head angle and like the neutral position so I just left it there. I been riding the bike and now have about 1000 miles on it and feels ok. Probably had I known I would’ve just use the regular head set provided by specialize
