Goal was to build a single-speed with as many US manufactured components as possible and highlight those components through color choices.
Onyx hubs with custom laser etched Frame Up Bikes (Walnut Creek, CA) 'sneaky mountain" logo.
Cane Creek eeWing cranks are super stiff and help transfer all the power to the Onyx single-speed hub.
Custom reflective decals help tie together the colorway. Thomson Ti bars to match the Cane Creek eeWings was a no-brainer.
I would rather ride a hardtail with a dropper than a full-suspension bike with a rigid seatpost.
Onyx hubs roll forever and are pretty much bullet proof.
