Additional Info
This is my son’s bike. His XC coach wanted him to get a race bike but his priority is trail riding not racing. Out of the bikes he demoed. He had the most fun on this one. So I guess we will be swapping out the tires for the XC races. We got the frame and fork from Pivot then pieced together the rest of the parts. I did the black accents with vinyl. We pulled the S35 wheels off his old bike. For the money it’s hard to beat the XT Kit. The bar stem and dropper came off my old bike. It’s hard to believe he’s been on those XTR pedals for 8 years already. This is the 4th full build he’s done. I’m really fortunate to have a kid who’s super stoked to ride all the time. We rode nearly 2000 miles of single track in 2023.
