I designed the Double Bacon from scratch in lockdown and worked with an asian Ti factory to do production.
Low volume production is the end-goal.
This is the prototype with one or two changes for the final bike.
The bike rides as intended - climbs well (and not just for a 160mm bike - more like a 140mm trailbike) and rips! Titanium makes for a fantastic ride quality - preloads in turns and shoots out and pings through rock gardens rocketing you over the tops.

super cool project, crazy to see what's possible on such a small scale! Shock does seem decently undersized for the travel though, I'd usually expect around 60mm+ stroke for 160mm wheel travel, I'd keep an eye on the damper if you're planning on taking this to production eventually.

Sure that can be a problem. I designed the leverage ratio to use the higher starting leverage for small bump sensitivity, but as it moves through its travel, the mechanical advantage of the frame over the shock decreases, so that you don't end up blowing your shock or damaging your damper.

It will have shorter service intervals than for example a 60mm stroke for the same travel - but it highly depends on the leverage ratio and curve as to whether it will inevitably damage you shock or not.

Looks nice! Only dimension I would change on the geo, personally, would be a taller stack. 613mm for a large is 20-30mm sorter than I would want. But, if it works for you, more power to ya!

Sure. The only way to increase stack keeping the same geo/fork travel would be increasing headtube length. A good idea if you are selling complete bikes - since at OEM you can cut steerers from full length, but if it is a frame only design - then it is limiting to your potential buyers in terms of steerer tube length on forks they buy new or secondhand or already own.
