Got any instructions on the whole process? What to buy, how to mix it, where does it have to be to not cause any problems (does it eat through any plastic & co for example), how to get rid of the leftover chemicals, etc.?

I don't really want to recommend this process as it's dangerous and can end up bad for unexperienced hands,  most of sink unblockers contains this and on the label you can find an information to not use it for aluminium pipes, it simply melts the aluminium so it needs to be done properly otherwise you can loose (literally) your components or hurt yourself as it's a highly corrosive chemical. I'm pretty sure you can find some how to vids on YT about that process

Yeah, I'm aware of most of it. To be honest it might make sense to just hit up a local anodizing supplier and ask them if they can dot he stripping. They should probably have the means to do it as pre-ano raw material prep anyway.
