In addition I run Rimpact Tire Inserts which are 190g front+rear and its fully wrapped with "RideWrap" which makes another 60g. Add 160g for the milk. Will try a EXT Storia V3 in the next weeks as Iยดm a little too heavy (100kg) for the older Fox X2.

Update 06-29-2021
Will stay with the Fox X2 for now. It feels soft at first but sticks to the ground like glue. Dialed it in with a "Shockwiz" and now running 240psi (250max.) for a SAG of 32%. As the X2 seems to be highly progressive on the last 10mm I had never a issue with bottoming out till now.

just got mine built up it sits at 33lbs with pedals and the 12 speed box. will not be returning to a derailleur bike......

Hey, not 100% sure what you mean about "weight of the pinion". The complete bike is about 1kg heavier than my old bike but I dont think that makes a difference. The gearbox itself weights around 2300g. What you really can feel is that the weight is more centered when you jump and the suspension performance is amazing. The most thing I love of the bike till now is the silence. With onyx hub and Belt drive you can drop to flat with only hearing the suspension work. For the gripshift Iยดm still not sure. I think the ergonomics are okay. I changed the shifting direction so that my index finger slides forward over the brake lever while shifting down which works very well and I already hate that I have to lift my thumb to shift on my Hardtail. When it comes down to shifting itself thats a little more of an challenge. Upshifts work well and you can shift a lot of gears (not all) under load but the downshifts need to be timed very accurate. Got stuck more than once on a steeper climb. You relly need to take off the complete load for a very small time. I figured out that bes for me works to give a little pressure on the shifter and the I only have to time the pedal interrupt. To be fair I dont have that many miles on the thing right now and i think/hope that will be muscle memory in a few weeks. Oh, what I also really love is that Iยดm able to shift while coasting or standing.Hope this helps a little. Cheers

Zerodes are always good to see out on the trails. The suspension visibly looks more supple without all that weight and the lack of noise it topnotch.
I've heard that some small manufacturers have made a shift lever for pinions,.

Yes, chinq makes a shifter conversion with two individual levers and instinctiv.bike has a own lever (but not selling it separately). Thing with the lever is that you can only shift two gears at once. Rumors are going on that Pinion could release a electronic/wireless shifter later this year.
