Really excited on how my 2016 Scout build came together! This thing rips. I chose to run heavier tires than most, I feel it makes the bike more stable when air born. The total weight of the bike could be greatly reduced if desired.

White walls not fat walls should have been the next big thing, or next big old thing, bike industry always behind on the hills!

those are skin/gum walls and couple companies been coming out with them for MTB. Maxxis has em for their top selling designs but their a bitch to find

According to Transition (or the email one of their employees sent me,) a 160mm fork would throw the geo off and create unnecessary stress on the frame. I know this guy shreds enough to know what'll work for him, but I can still remember the early freeride days when dudes would put dual crowns on their hard tails and snap the head tube off dropping 6" curbs.
