The World Cup lands in the familiar setting of Loudenvielle, France for the 2nd round of DH in 2026. The Europe-based race means that getting new bikes, parts, pits and products to the venue is a lot easier than round 1. That means plenty of craziness to peep in the pits.

that shock mounting plate looks a little sketchy on the Unno.. otherwise its mint.
This version of the Gamux reminds me of a RedAlp... but better looking in every way. Maybe I'm getting used to it but the reverse stem seems to fit with the bike. The short cranks are just a cherry on top of a bike that already challenges the proportions I'm used to.
I thought the exact same thing. Holy Leverage!
They started with the Rise-Reverse stem then said F it, we'll make our own WITH clamps
I thought they'd all vanished but the mauve Demo has a Pademelon on it
Richie is intermittently running one still and a few others do too
Stem on the crestline is more interesting than TMD 🤔
Would love to see what a Gamux enduro or trail bike /w Reece Wilson spice would look like for us mere mortals who also don't have access to downhill parks.
The burning question I have is, was Rick able to feel the Brembo brakes lever pull? He's right there, just a little squeezy squeezy when no one is looking.🤫
Collab with Chase Warner and Prosise Metal Works. Cool to see them at a WC
Looks like some kind of prototype Mazza on the Unno. I liked running the Mazza as a trail tire 5-6 years ago in 4C compound, curious what they have in the works. Vittoria has good XC tires, but could definitely use more improvement in their DH tire range
Vittoria is pushing hard with new tread patterns, casings and rubber compounds. I’ve been a tire tester for them since helping with the development on the Mazza. Ken Avery was part of the Minion program with Maxxis and he’s doing some great stuff at Vittoria now.
Love the photo dump format. The pictures are also nicely crisp and detailed. Thanks Vital team.
(Please bring back the background music haha).
Cool to hear that, excited to see what comes out. I assume you can’t share anything here?
Correct. Some of it may never see the light of day either.
