Just four months ago, Atherton Bikes was announced. Gee, Rachel and Dan are on the journey to being bike brand owners with the Robot Bike braintrust behind them and the DW6 suspension design directing the rear wheel's path. That launch showed some original prototypes with the unique carbon-tube-bonded-to-3D-printed-metal-lug construction. They looked cool, kinda homemade and the potential for refinement was sizeable. Enter Fort William this weekend for the World Cup DH and the refinements on prototype #9 of the Atherton Bikes DH machine have taken shape nicely. There are even some graphic applications in the works. Drool on and add to the moisture already at Ft. Bill. -Photos by Dan Hearn
