First Look: Truvativ Descendant TLD CoLab Components 9

Truvativ continues to blend style and performance through an ongoing collaboration with Troy Lee Designs. Plus, SRAM's latest DH groups get official.

A few years back Truvativ launched the CoLab series, a lineup of components featuring custom art and graphics developed in tandem with various Pros, artists, and connoisseurs. Troy Lee Designs has been highly influential for both style and attitude for eons, and with a long-term relationship with SRAM it is a no-brainer to see more joint products from the two. The CoLab series is not exclusive technology, rather it is an opportunity for riders to express themselves through custom graphics, and Troy Lee Designs has come up with yet another way to stand out in the crowd.

The latest collaboration features graphics inspired by hi-tech camouflage. The highly praised Truvativ Descendant series cranks and bars are the only places to find the TLD CoLab graphics, but the series is versatile enough to be used on just about any bike. We are running the cranks and bar on our trail bike, and noted that they attract quite a bit of attention in a busy sea of carbon and neon without being too extreme for our taste. Style is a subjective measure; however, any rider looking to refine the appearance of their bike will no doubt want to give the Descendant TLD CoLab series a look.
