Matt Walker's Pivot Phoenix 29

It's tough out there with two Matt Walker's on the same World Cup DH circuit. This Matt Walker is the Kiwi version, not to be confused with the UK version. The Kiwi Matt Walker is on a smoking-fast-looking Pivot Phoenix 29 with a FOX / Shimano build. True to form with the Pivot Factory Racing squad are the Reynolds wheels laced to Industry Nine hubs and Maxxis tires gripping the ground.

George Brannigan's GT Fury 97.5

Seeing George Brannigan back on the World Cup DH circuit warms our hearts. He's a full beast-mode Kiwi slayer and we know wild times on the track with results to match are in his future. He's on an idler-equipped GT Fury running a 29-inch front wheel and a 27.5-inch rear - in fact the whole GT squad seems to be on the reverse mullet program. Martin Maes has already proven the merits of this mismatch, so we'll see how this weekend goes. FOX suspension, Shimano shifting, Race Face components, Stan's wheels and Schwalbe rubber make it haul.
