Nope, it's not Wednesday. This week we're dropping the podcast early to coincide with the big news around Intense and today's guest, Jeff Steber. Intense has made the decision to offer their bikes directly to the rider through online sales. They have a unique sales model, however, that keeps their dealers involved in the process. I had a great time speaking with Jeff the other day about his history, the changing faces of Intense over the years and this new direction they've decided to take. Here's to some great discussion with one of mountain biking's most influential, inspirational and creative men, Jeff Steber of Intense.

There is almost a year since the inside line started, and I just discovered these podcasts few days ago.
It is really great to see this new kind of web content, simple discussions but qualitative interviews of people who made the mtb what it is today.

I especially like this one with Intense boss. Good to know how the Intense story started and what are the real challenges of such company.
However knowing that SEED and Cero were involved in latest developments I still can’t imagine what is the background work to bring these machines to market.

Am I the only one who wants to blow off work so I can watch Chain Smoke and Headliners? I tip my hat to Intense and anyone else willing to reinvent themselves. Jeff said he likes change, many folks don't. I will race my M16 with pride in 2018.

Overpriced plastic bikes I could have bought everywhere...now the "special" is out of this brand..with what do they want to distinguish themselves?? More daltonic colour schemes?? BTW...what happened with all your glorified welders???Are they glueing now carbon sheets?

I thought highly of the brand before, but I have a whole new form of respect for Jeff and Intense after this. Awesome stuff.
