I replaced my Fox X2 shock on a Specialized enduro with this shock and my god… what a difference. The bike before with the Fox X2 shock would blow through travel terribly.
The Cane Creek has extremely good dampening. Better than anything else I have used.
The ride quality is outstanding. I’ve ridden many suspension setups in Downhill settings since 2004 and I have always come back to the Cane Creek shocks. I’ve had probably over 10 of the Cane Creek shocks and have never had one leak or break of any kind.
The reliability of the DB shock line is very good.
they use very high end materials and seals and they make these shocks perform better than anything else.
I’ve used Fox, Manitou, Push, RockShox, Marzochi and the Cane Creek absolutely blows them all out.
The value you get and customer service is amazing as well.
if you are looking for a shock that can do it all and do it very well you just can’t go wrong with the DB shocks.

Metric sizes (in mm), open end eye versions available:
Wider Range of Adjustment – DB Kitsuma boasts a wider range of damping adjustment on the compression circuit and increased range of rebound control. The rebound range has also been shifted downward for more rebound damping to accommodate the larger spring rates needed for more modern bikes.
See and Feel What Your Settings Are – The entire range of DB Kitsuma’s low-speed compression and rebound circuits are controlled within a single rotation, while the high-speed circuits are controlled within two rotations, allowing the rider to easily reference where they are within their adjustment.
Tool-Free Adjustment – DB Kitsuma sports completely tool-free adjusters that are ergonomically designed to be easily accessible and adjustable trail-side.
Three-Position Climb Switch – A single lever switches the shock between three distinct modes: Descend, CS, and Firm. The patented "CS" mode provides a stable yet responsive platform engineered to maximize traction and pedal efficiency while climbing over technical terrain and singletrack. "Firm" mode utilizes a design that closes off the common bleed port and excels at pedaling over long stretches of pavement or gravel roads on your way to the trail.
