Bike vs Bike - Cam Zink's YT TUES vs YT TUES 24

Cam Zink is known for his massive moves on the bike in slopestyle contests and at Rampage, but he's also a downhill fiend at heart. When he's not 360'ing Jeffsy 29ers, he's clocking DH runs and running YT USA in between huge Utah stunts.

When you're spinning 30 foot drops, your bike has to be setup for larger-than-life hits and serious impacts. That setup does not crossover into a daily DH machine, so Cam has two YT TUES bikes built up; one for freeriding and one for "DH race" applications.

Cam Zink's YT TUES 27.5-inch DH Race bike

• Size Large, stock frame with 27.5-inch wheels
• RockShox BoXXer World Cup 27.5-inch fork with M Damper

• SRAM X0 DH 7-speed drivetrain with 36t chainring
• SRAM XX Brake levers paired up to SRAM GUIDE calipers, 200mm Centerline rotors
  
• Michelin Prototype DH tires
• Deity cockpit with 30mm Micro DM stem and carbon DC31 Mohawk bars at 25mm rise. Zink went with the lower-rise carbon bars because the short stem has to sit above the stem cap, raising bar height. The low rise bars put his overall bar height where he wants it.
• Deity TMAC pedals, blue
• ENVE M90 carbon rims laced to Onyx Hubs (blue). Cam is not contracted by a rim company and chose ENVE for his "DH race" setup.

Cam Zink's YT TUES 26-inch Freeride bike

• Size medium, stock frame with 26-inch wheels. Custom seat stays allow 26-inch wheels to make spinning and flipping 30-foot cliffs that much easier.
  
• RockShox BoXXer World Cup 26-inch fork with H Damper
  
• RockShox Vivid R2C with custom Zink Light Saber tune which means there's basically a dummy valve in place of high-speed/end stroke rebound adjustment. Low-speed rebound is still adjustable, but there's no need for getting bucked with any kind of end-stroke control when he's hucking Rampage runs.
• Variable rate 275-400lb rear shock spring for progression and bottom-out resistance
• SRAM X0 DH 7-speed drivetrain with 32t chainring and custom gold cassette
• SRAM XX Brakes (levers and calipers), 200mm rotors front and rear
  
• Michelin Wild Rock'r 2 tires with foldable enduro/DH casing. The "prototype" is due to the unreleased rubber compound
• Deity cockpit with Locust DM 50mm stem and CZ38 Special bars at 38mm rise
• Deity TMAC pedals, black
• Stan's No Tubes Flow EX rims laced to Onyx Hubs (black). Cam is not contracted by a rim company and chose the aluminum Stan's for his freeride setup. He feels aluminum rims handle the extreme impacts of his freeriding better, due to their ability to bend or warp when compared to carbon rims that may be more prone to catastrophic failures.
