Additional Info

With the need of a bike for the bike park season and having a Santa Cruz Nomad V4 frame left in the garage, started thinking how to turn it into a downhill/freeride bike.
Using a bike design software tried to simulate how the bike would be and after trying a ton of ways to built it, the numbers showed in the 26 inch version didn't seem too crazy. So with that design chosen this built began to take shape.
Painted in a Suzuki Grove Green colour.
To fit the straight tube 26" Boxxer into the tapered head tube a specific adapter was mount. As the frame was made for boost wheels an aluminium spacer was enough for fitting the no-boost 26".
In this case this shock is 230X60 from factory, removing a grey spacer inside gives you 5mm more of stroke. Now the same shock gives you 184mm of travel with 65mm of stroke and the 26" wheel gives you enough room between the tire and the frame not to be worried about it.
The BB height is now at 322,9mm and the head angle 64.1° in the low position.
