First off, John could you give the RB guys a crash course in shooting locations and framing. Thanks!

Second, I was so bummed when they announced they were changing Andorra. The old track was so steep and rad. Was on the fence when I saw the preview. But damn, both of these raw videos have me stoked. Course looks fucking nasty. The death grip section into blown right hand corner I could watch all day.

Maybe a few more numbers on their sides/back so the vid makers can identify. Although RAW turns these around in super fast time so can’t complain ever!! Amazing

The track looks AWESOME!! It sure would be great to know who your favorite riders and teams actually are. A little task for the marketing department: identify your riders / kits / bikes in a press release every now and then. A little task for vital: do an update of, I dunno, the top 20 riders in their kits once or twice a season (since maybe they change throughout the year--I'm looking at you Specialized).

Pre-race coverage is a huge part of "energizing the base". If this is about marketing for the sponsors, well, help us identify the riders that you are paying your salaries to.

it's so difficult to figure out sometimes, isn't it? some of the kits change every race and even multiple times per race, the bike colors can change each race. it's like learning all over again each race LOL. i think it'd be rad like in SX if every rider had a permanent # (except for #1). plate numbers changing weekly based on current rank makes it tough to keep up visually. this format could be tough on race officials though?

I have to assume the # plate feels better for the riders than it does for us in terms of motivation.

Every time I watch the RAW videos, you see the reaction times and twitchiness of the young guys and think "Downhill Racing is a young man's game". Then you see GM go by and think "Maybe not"
